Ciao! C'è una nuova lezione programmata per venerdì 27 gennaio alle 4:30 PM ora italiana.

Parleremo della storia del Colosseo, conosciuto anticamente come Anfiteatro Flavio (Amphitheatrum Flavium in latino). Scopriremo perchè si è danneggiato, e come è stato usato nel corso dei secoli. Sapevi che, proprio sotto al Colosseo, ci sono dei piccoli laghi sotterranei dalle acque limpide e cristalline? 

Leggeremo e analizzeremo un interessante documento che ci farà scoprire delle curiosità interessanti sul Colosseo mentre ci permetterà di imparare nuovi vocaboli e migliorare la pronuncia italiana.

Dopo la lezione, vi verrà inviato via email il documento più alcuni appunti di grammatica. Non vedo l'ora di leggere assieme a te!

Ciao! There is a new lesson scheduled for Friday, January 27th at 4:30 PM Italian time.

We will talk about the history of the Colosseum, known in ancient times as the Flavian Amphitheater (Amphitheatrum Flavium in Latin). We will discover why it was damaged, and how it was used throughout the centuries. Did you know that, just under the Colosseum, there are small underground lakes with crystal-clear waters?

We will read and analyze an interesting document that will allow us to discover interesting facts on the Colosseum while also allowing us to learn new vocabulary and improve our Italian pronunciation.

After the lesson, you will be sent the document by email, along with some grammar notes. I can't wait to read together with you!

Nel cuore dell'Italia c'è l'Umbria, verde e antica, e Castiglione del Lago sorge come una rocca su un velo d'argento. Non vedo l'ora di farti scoprire questo posto. Leggere e analizzare quel documento ci permetterà di imparare nuovi vocaboli e migliorare la pronuncia italiana.

Ciao! Il 13 gennaio alle ore 16.30 (ora italiana) c'è una nuova riunione "Leggiamo in Italiano con Bea". Per l'ultima volta saremo ospitati su Duolingo Zoom! Poi nelle lezioni successive useremo il nuovo sistema di riunioni. 

Il 13 gennaio leggiamo un documento sul paese natale di Leonardo da Vinci: una testimonianza storico-geografica che ci riporta agli splendori del Rinascimento e alle opere del grande genio poliedrico! La lettura e l'analisi del testo permetteranno di imparare nuovi vocaboli e migliorare la pronuncia italiana.

Hello! On January 13th at 4:30 PM (Italian time) there is a new meeting "Leggiamo in Italiano con Bea". For the last time we will be hosted on Duolingo Zoom! Then in the following lessons we will use the new meeting system.

On January 13th we will read a document about the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci: a historical-geographical testimony that takes us back to the splendor of the Renaissance and the works of the great polyhedral genius! Reading and analyzing the text will allow us to learn new vocabulary and improve our Italian pronunciation.
